On Jon Jones and Pound-For-Pound Rankings
“I think, it’s hard to say but I believe because – you have to think about that every weight class has different kind of competition, you know? Some weight class has better strikers, some weight class has better grapplers, some weight class have, you know? So it depends on the competition, you know, that you have, the adversity you have in your weight class that define you as best pound-for-pound. But it’s true that now Jon Jones, he – I would say it would be fair to say he’s the best pound-for-pound right now, him and Anderson Silva I believe. And there’s another guy I believe is best pound-for-pound but nobody talks about it is Frankie Edgar. If you talk about pound-for-pound, I believe Frankie Edgar is number one. I believe he is number one because he’s very small, Frankie Edgar could fight at 145 probably, you talk about pound-for-pound, I believe Frankie Edgar. But there is also like Jon Jones and Anderson Silva, both from what they have done, they are very good, so yeah it’s hard to say.”

Jon Jones-Dan Henderson in September
UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is likely to make his next title defense this fall against Dan Henderson, promotion president Dana White said.
"We're thinking early September," White said on Thursday during a news conference in New York. "Henderson's small but I give him the credit he deserves," White said. "He's got a great chin, power and good wrestling. He's tough."

Mike Kyle On ZUFFA: It's only a matter of time before they start giving money back to the fighters
On ZUFFA:
"They are more organized as far as all that. They're helping us out with getting the insurance benefits stuff going. They still don't have the retirement plan that us fighters deserve and need. There's a lot of money out there that they're making, and it's only a matter of time before they start giving it back to the fighters."
On Jone Jones:
"Who knows how long Strikeforce is going to be around. Hopefully long enough for me to get a title, and then I can step in and challenge Jon Jones. I don't like getting off the subject of Feijao, but I really believe that I have Jon Jones ticket, and that I can reach his chin.
He has a huge reach advantage on everyone he faces, and on me, he has maybe three or four inches. He's really versatile, but he's young. I've got a lot of experience, and I've fought a lot of tough guys. I've never seen him get hit hard yet."

Pat Miletich:Ben Askren, what you're doing is wrestling, this isn't MMA
To Ben Askren:
"I made a point to watch that fight live because I was really excited about it. Douglas Lima, Ben Askren arguably the most boring title fight of the last three, four years. Boring. And what bothers me most about Ben Askren, he was on the show and he wasn't a particularly good guest, but he was on the show last week, and here's the thing, to come out there and say, 'Hey, this is MMA, if you want to go see striking go watch kickboxing or boxing,' no, actually, this isn't wrestling, Ben, that's the thing. This isn't MMA, what you're doing is wrestling. What guys like Jon Jones, even guys like Georges St. Pierre and guys like Frankie Edgar, they use MMA. But, when you're just going down there to take the guy down and to not do much, I mean, I know he is going for some submissions and he's throwing some punches, but he is really not doing much to try and finish the fight. To me, it's not exciting and Bellator, in my opinion, needs to have at least a talk, they can't do anything, but come on, you're just eliminating these guys and you're not really doing anyone any favors here."

King Mo: I think I can beat Jon Jones
On Jones/Evans fight:
"Jones used his reach good. Jones did his thing, keeping it at bay. Rashad fought a good 1st, 2nd and the first part of the 3rd round when he came moving forward. He was just getting outworked and out pointed. It’s not like Jon went out there and brutalized him and raped him. Everybody’s trying to make it seem like that. Jones went out there and got the victory. Jones fought smart and outworked him. It wasn’t like he was throwing sonic booms and hittin’ him with E. Honda punches. He was just out there being Jon Jones and outpointing him.
I’d like to see Rashad get back in there with him with a few adjustments."
On his chanses:
"Shit, me. I think I can beat him…"

Don Frye sees the future
"[Dan Henderson] doesn't have a fucking chance. So until he [Jon Bones Jones] moves up to heavy and has a hell of a fight against Junior Dos Santos no one will touch him," Don said. "Dos Santos is going to run the heavyweight division until Jones gets there. No one can challenge Dos Santos just like no one can challenge Bones at light heavyweight."
Rashad Evans: From the first time I trained with Jon, I knew he was gonna be really good
"From the first time I trained with Jon, I knew he was gonna be really good,” said Evans. “I never knew how fast he was gonna be good because somebody can be good in the practice room but really not good in the fight. So when I saw that his mental game was just as good as his physical game, I knew there was no rate on how fast he could go because he actually believes a lot of the stuff that he says, and I’ll tell you what, belief is 99.9% of it. If you believe, you can go really far with this just on belief alone."
And another quote, the funny one...or not so funny.
“I’m so tired of it I can’t even go on Twitter or any social networks because that’s all everybody’s talking about,” he said. “That’s good to an extent that everybody’s talking about it, but I can’t escape it. If I post a picture of me doing something else, somebody would say something like ‘oh, you should be training for Jon Jones.’ They must think I just sit in the gym and train 24/7 and do nothing but that, and only break to go and eat, and when I eat, I only eat salads.”

Rashad Evans jokes about "Weak" chin
"I only got knocked out one time.I guess everybody I have fought really sucks because I have got an amazing record for having the worst chin in the world".
Rashad Evans: If I do everything that is expected, I probably won’t win
"Boxing is my fundamental striking base," said Evans "I’m a boxer in training. It’s definitely something I will look to implement in my strategy.
It goes without saying that I am going to do what I can to upset the opposition, something a little bit unexpected. If I do everything that is expected, I probably won’t win. I’ve got to mix it up."

Dan Henderson: Looks like JDS hits hard
On fight with the UFC HW Champ Junior dos Santos:
"Looks like JDS hits hard, so I have to be rock careful out there and come out with a pretty good gameplan.. not just stand there and slug with him".
Who poses the biggest threat to Dan, Anderson Silva or Jon Jones?
"Anderson is definitely a better striker and a lot more accurate and long, a little awkward as well. His ground game is ok. Jon Jones is a little bit more well-rounded but not as good as a striker. And he is very awkward as well. I dont know who would be tougher. Jones is a little bigger but I never worried about size."

Former UFC Champs Talk UFC 145 Main Event
Mauricio “Shogun” Rua: "He [Jon] is not only long (limbed) but also fast and he can react very quickly, I know this. So, I think it’s going to be Jones’ match."
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson: "Rashad is fast and can surprise you. He surprised me by faking a takedown and hitting me with a right hand, which kinda stunned me. I think he can do that to Jon Jones, but he has to do it right away."
Randy Couture: "Rashad has to avoid his propensity for standing up and just striking, which he has done in the past. He can’t just strike with Jones; if he does he will lose because Jon has more tools in the toolbox."
Frank Shamrock: "He’ll have to pull himself up and battle until the final bell. In the end, this fight will help Jon become a better fighter and a better champion, and will endear himself to fans for years to come."
