Alistair Overeem License Request Denied; Can Re-Apply in December

So... I find this articles very interesting:

"Overeem said that on March 23 he injected one of them on March 23 after consulting with the physician via phone."
"The commission stuck to the basic principle of fighters being responsible for all chemicals in their bodies, but appeared to offer some sympathy toward Overeem's plight."

"The UFC 146 press conference participants were told they would be tested and needed to stick around for the testing. As soon as the presser was over, Overeem attempted to run out of the building before being stopped and told it was going to be treated as a positive test. His excuse was that he was going to an interview, then he changed the story to that he was going to speak to his attorney about his battery case and then changed again that he was avoiding being served by Golden Glory with papers."

"Believe me when I tell you that that title fight is my dream, my ultimate goal," Overeem said. "I have three other belts, Strikeforce, DREAM and K-1. This was going to be the crown of my career, which I'm giving up to take a couple steps back to get back on the horse, do the testing and prove myself, that I’m a clean fighter. And when that is established, get back on the horse and continue."

"Overeem was also given a vile that contained two more doses of the mixture."
